The Eye of North Falls

The North Falls of North Silver Creek is a spectacular plunge type waterfall measuring 136 feet tall. The stream flows through a complex riparian forest comprised of Red Cedar, Broadleaf maple, Douglas-fir and Vine Maple. Behind the waterfall is the largest example of a rock shelter I have ever seen, and at the base of the falls lay numerous oversize boulders which presumably have come from the rock shelf as the North Falls continues the process of retreat.
